Inverkip wins Green Apple Gold Award

Congratulations to our Eco-group who have achieved a gold award in the charity category of the Scottish Green Awards for Environmental Best Practice.
Pictured are Hilary Cameron, our Eco-group Convener and Susie Gemmill, a member of the group and our Property Convener who received the award today (5 March 2018) at a ceremony at the CMS Innovation Hub at Castlecary.
Hilary said 'I am thrilled to receive this award on behalf of the Eco-group. It's a testament to the hard work and dedication of the group in caring for Creation. A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us.'
Our Eco-group have won an award for Environmental Best Practice in the Scottish Green Apple Awards. They competed against 500 other nominees and will attend a ceremony in Glasgow on 5 March 2018 to hear if they have won gold, silver or bronze.
Inverkip Church has been awarded Fairtrade Church status by the Fairtrade Foundation. Thank you to our Eco-group for leading this initiative and to everyone for their support.

The Eco Group are organising a litter pick at Ardgowan Beach on Saturday, 1st July 2017 from 10 - 12. Please come along and help, even half an hour will make a big difference. Gloves and litter pickers will be provided.
The Eco Group will be carrying out a litter pick at Millhouse Road, Inverkip on Saturday, 13 May 2017. All are welcome to come along and help. Gloves and litter pickers will be provided.
The Eco Group will be helping at a litter pick at Lunderston Bay on Saturday, 29 April 2017 from 11 am - 1 pm, organised by the Rangers at Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park. All are welcome to help.
