Please support Blythswood Care's annual Christmas appeal for people living in poverty in Eastern Europe and Asia. This is the 21st anniversary of the appeal and since 1993 Blythswood have distributed over 1.7 million boxes. This appeal is supported by schools, churches, workplaces and individuals all over the UK. These gift boxes are handed out by local charities in orphanages, schools, hospital wards, care homes, gypsy villages and urban slums and contain items such as soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, socks, hats, etc. Things we take for granted can often be luxuries for people living in desperate poverty.
If you would like to help, leaflets are available at the church doors and in the lounge. To ensure Christmas delivery, boxes should be handed in by Friday, 7 November. Margaret Vallance Tel: 01475 521732
